[Spoiler: It was later revealed that Hitogami in fact was manipulating Rudeus the whole time for his own personal gains of getting rid of his enemies. Hitogami is the self-proclaimed "God of Humanity" and the sworn enemy of Dragon God Orsted.]

[Spoiler: In the alternate timeline, he was able to obtain Rudeus' trust in which he exploited to kill his family, bringing ruin to both Rudeus and the world.]
